Thanks!

I’m really excited to bring you all this amazing giveaway!  I actually bought one of these for my son for Christmas!  He is 4 years old and in preschool and just loves playing with this!  I can now get some housework done and have a little peace of mind that my son is learning something while I get other things quickly taken care of!  My 2 year old really loves this too but I need to be actively present with him to help him guide through the pages of the interactive book.

About the LeapFrog LeapStart Interactive Learning System

  • Perfect for Ages 2-7
  • Helps with counting, learning to read and problem solving through fun, replayable activities
  • Most replayable activities have two levels with more than 50 key skills per level covering a variety of preschool through first grade subjects
  • Includes 400+ activities across a library of more than 25 books (sold separately)

Getting Started

This LeapFrog LeapStart Interactive Learning System is really easy to use and to set up!  Inside the box you’ll find:

  • LeapFrog LeapStart Learning System
  • 1 sample interactive book
  • A USB connector cable

Note: Batteries are not included and require 2 AA batteries and you’ll need a small screwdriver to open the compartment.

You will need to get on your computer and download the LeapFrog LeapStart Module that allows you to download different books for this system (sold separately) via the USB connector cable.  It takes less than 5 minutes and you’ll be ready to go!  There are 2 plastic prongs where the book’s spiral binding can attach to loosely (perfect for my 2 year old not to rip it out)!  Turn the power on (located at the bottom left corner of the learning system), adjust the volume, and watch as your child works through each page!

Thoughts & Helpful Advice

LeapFrog LeapStart Learning System Giveaway

Even with my 4 year old, I had to sit through these books a few times before my son began to understand the concept and flow process of HOW to play.  Each page has 4 “buttons” that you’ll need to press to start the activity for that page.  The green button starts the first level and as soon as your child understands that level, the orange level (considered the “challenge” level) will be open to you.  Both my 2 and 4 year old had to understand that although we called it a “pen” the stylus didn’t in fact make any marks on the page like a normal pen and trying to explain that was super fun (haha)!  This was a perfect toy for both my kids and it was great to take with us to keep our kids busy during short trips, doctor visits, etc.
