Mommy’s Best Amazon Finds For Your New Year’s Resolution

January’s Mommy’s Best Amazon Finds is all about New Year’s resolution and products that can help you achieve them!

Happy January! The month of motivation and life-changing decisions!  I love to hear about New Year’s resolutions!  It’s inspiring to see people strive to better themselves.

Some of my resolutions are:
  1. Always striving to be a better, active parent everyday!  It’s hard to be a stay at home mom. I admit that I love being a mom and being able to be a stay at home mom is a blessing but it wasn’t my first choice.
  2. Getting on a family budget and eliminating our credit card debt.  I want to be able to save for my kids’ future and I can’t begin to do that if I can’t manage our financial debt.
  3. Getting fit.  I’m not overweight, actually I’m underweight.  I have a weak body that needs to build some needed muscles in particular regions of my body to help with my scoliosis.
  4. Setting up a healthy meal planner.  I’ll stay fit if I keep eating healthy everyday.  I don’t eat healthy at all and I don’t want to pass that on to my boys.
  5. Doing something once a week to unwind and self-care.  This will help reduce my anxiety and lessen my worrying habits.  Besides, I can’t strive to be a better parent if I don’t take care of myself.
  6. Going back to the Catholic Church.  Reconnecting with my faith that I’ve always found to be home for me.
Can you relate to any of my New Year’s resolutions?

This month I researched the most common New Year’s resolutions people make.

Among the most common New Year’s resolution subjects are:

  • Finances
  • Health – Weight Loss
  • Mental Health – Positive Thinking
  • Major Life Decisions – Facing addiction, career change, returning to school, etc.

To help with your New Year’s resolutions, I’ve researched some products from Amazon that can help you achieve your goals this year!

Wife, Stay at Home Mom of two boys, and blogger. Friends and family call me Kaye but my personal favorite is "Mom." I am truly blessed to have the opportunity to be at home with my two baby boys. As an engineer by career, and stay-at-home mom by choice, I write about how to “Invent. Innovate. Design. Mommyhood” and what that entails.

That daily planner set looks really nice. I have been contemplating starting to use one as of late.

  • Divya @ Eat. Teach. Blog.

I bought that Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up book on Audible a few months ago but haven’t listened to it. I think I’ll dive into it on Feburary and hopefully Konmari my whole apartment!

  • Cara (@StylishGeek)

Those are amazing finds you shared! I love Amazon and will definitely look into that Budget book and All Purpose Cleaners. As for my resolution…gosh I haven’t even started thinking what to resolve this year! It would mostly likely be in the health department. 🙂

  • liz ingle

This is the second time I’ve seen the book “Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up” featured on someone’s blog. I’m thinking there might be something to it!

  • Debra Schroeder

I don’t do the entire Konmari method (no time to dump everything into big pile) but I’ve started folding my clothes that way. It’s amazing how much more you can fit in your drawer.

  • Theresa

I have a hard time remembering to exercise, even though I want to make it a priority for 2017. Thanks for the reminder!

  • Amanda Love

I love having goals for the year, they motivate me and keep me on the right track. These tools are awesome, that book sounds inspiring! I always make sure that I have a planner every year, it’s perfect as a journal and as a schedule tracker!

  • Erica NIcole

So far, I’m just using peace of mind to keep my “resolutions”. Technically this year, I only made goals for the year and so far, I’m doing my best to get there! Good luck to you!

  • Jessica Lawson

We are working on debt and getting healthier in 2017. I also want to take my online business to the next level, but the other 2 are more of a priority!

  • Brandi with Big Fit Fam

great finds and wonderful resolutions as well! I particularly love that wooden looking journal!

  • Roxanne

I think self care is always high on my list of goals. It can be hard to work it in. I am a sucker for a pretty planner and I try to schedule myself for coffee dates, workouts, walk times and classes that make me feel recharged.

  • Joanna @ Everyday Made Fresh

Love using Amazon to shop, and you’ve found some amazing thing that I want, and a few that I need!

  • Rachel

I love this roundup. What a great topic. I feel like half that stuff I need to buy. LOL Thanks for sharing.

One of my biggest goals for this year is our finances. I love this list of things to keep me organized, because i do keep things down in a journal and there are some great ones listed here.

  • Heather

My husband and I are trying to pay off the remainder of our debt this year. It is so freeing to see that balance go down!

  • Jalisa

I’m aiming to definitely be more organized. I think as a blogger I’m tackling it better.

  • Jennifer (JenuineMom)

These are wonderful resolutions! I, too, am trying to eat healthier. And I love your idea to do something for self-care at least once a week. I think I will try this as well!

  • Krystal // The Krystal Diaries

I think I need to start practicing self care more. I get easily stressed and overwhelmed lately. Maybe if I find something, I can relax and not get so anxious.

  • Rachel

These are great resolutions and I hope you can stick to everything. I am going to start going to the gym five days a week!

  • Keren Charles

Like you, being organized and staying on task are my top new years resolutions. I have started to use my agenda and it has been working well so far.

  • amber

I can’t wait to get my hands on that book! As a minimalist I do edit my life often. We live in a small space (on purpose) and require almost weekly “audits” to make sure we don’t have “intruders” in our space (“stuff” that we don’t absolutely LOVE!)

  • Toughcookiemommy

Striving to be better every year is definitely something that I focus upon. It’s a blessing to be able to usher in another year and set new goals.
