Spring Time Fun with Follow Your Art Campaign in Gymboree Style!

My favorite time of year is spring and this year it feels like it’s coming early!  We live in New Mexico and we’ve barely had any snowfall, in fact, some ski areas didn’t open in our area!  We’ve easily had shorts weather, especially if it’s not windy!  With the weather warming up fairly quickly for us this year, it’s been exciting to think of what my boys and I could do this spring!

One of my kids’ favorite things to do when the warmer weather rolls in is spending time outside!  Since my 4 year old started preschool last year, he’s been very excited about paint, arts and crafts, and a whole lot of mess-making activities.  I’ve been counting down the days until we could have these messy activities outside (for easier clean up, because paint in carpet is no joke)!  Since big brother is the coolest kid around, my 2 year old takes right after him with interest in the same things!

This winter I’ve played with bright purple and blue kinetic sand and found it in my shoes, toilets, and dog bowls as well as the more traditional places like embedded in my carpet and between my couch cushions.  We’ve made slime that ended up in my kids’ hair and it was so much fun trying to get it out since both my kids really hate getting their hair washed.   As exciting as my kids and I are to do these activities together, as the cleaning lady to my home; I can do without the mess-making activities indoors and opt for a more outdoor style of fun!

So why shop at Gymboree?

Gymboree is one of my favorite places to shop because they always have trendy styles and are made well!  Have you ever washed your child’s most adorable shirt and have shrink so much it can’t be worn again?  I’ve been there.  I shop at Gymboree because I know these clothes are quality and they last a long time.  My 2 year old still wears the same clothes as my 4 year old when he was that age.  This saves me money and this is why I love being an affiliate for Gymboree!  Want to be an affiliate too?
